The Sideroad Studio – Terms & Conditions *Last updated: April 2026* Welcome to **The Sideroad Studio**. By purchasing classes, passes, memberships, or attending any class, workshop, event, or private session (in person or online), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully. --- 1. Studio Etiquette & Community The Sideroad Studio is a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful space. We ask all students to honor the energy of the room, the teacher, and one another. * Arrive on time when possible and silence mobile devices. * Respect personal space and consent. * The Sideroad Studio reserves the right to refuse service or remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or not aligned with our community values. No refunds will be issued in such cases. --- 2. Class Registration & Arrival * Pre-registration is encouraged as class sizes may be limited. * Late arrival may result in being denied entry for safety and flow of class. No refunds will be provided for late arrivals. * Please inform your teacher of any injuries, medical conditions, or pregnancy prior to class. --- 3. Class Passes, Packages & Memberships * All class passes, packages, memberships, and promotional offers are **non-refundable and non-transferable**. * Expiration dates apply to all passes and packages and will not be extended. * Unused classes are forfeited after expiration. * Promotional or discounted passes may have additional restrictions. --- 4. Cancellations & No-Shows * Class cancellations must be made in accordance with the studio’s booking policy (as stated at time of purchase or booking platform). * Late cancellations or no-shows may result in the class being deducted from your pass or charged accordingly. * Workshops, events, and special offerings are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. --- 5. Schedule Changes The Sideroad Studio reserves the right to: * Substitute teachers * Modify class times or formats * Cancel classes due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances In the event of a studio-cancelled class, your class credit will be returned. --- 6. Health, Safety & Personal Responsibility Yoga is a personal practice and participation is voluntary. By attending classes at The Sideroad Studio, you acknowledge and agree that: * You are physically and mentally capable of participating. * You assume full responsibility for your health and well-being. * You will practice within your own limits and modify or rest as needed. Always consult a physician before beginning any physical exercise program. --- 7. Liability Waiver By attending classes or events at The Sideroad Studio, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with yoga and movement practices. You hereby waive, release, and discharge The Sideroad Studio, its owners, teachers, contractors, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, or demands for injury, illness, loss, or damages arising from participation, whether occurring on the premises or online. --- 8. Personal Belongings * The Sideroad Studio is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items. * Please keep valuables with you or at home. --- 9. Photography & Media * From time to time, photographs or videos may be taken during classes or events for promotional purposes. * By attending, you consent to the use of your image unless you notify the studio in writing prior to class. --- 10. Online & Virtual Classes * Access to online classes is for personal use only and may not be shared, recorded, or redistributed. * Technical issues beyond the studio’s control do not qualify for refunds. --- 11. Payments * All prices are subject to change without notice. * Payments must be completed at time of booking. * The Sideroad Studio is not responsible for third-party booking platform errors. --- 12. Privacy (Ontario) The Sideroad Studio operates in Ontario and is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws, including the **Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA)**. * Personal information is collected only for studio operations such as scheduling, communication, safety, and payment processing. * Limited health-related information may be shared voluntarily for safety purposes but is not treated as medical advice or medical records. * We do not sell, trade, or share personal information with third parties, except where required by law. --- 13.
